ECCA

Parents Supporting ELTHAM

Eltham College Community Association, ECCA for short, is like the ELTHAM College family. Run by ELTHAM parents, ECCA creates a community network connecting College families, staff and other friends like local clubs and businesses. ECCA organises events, projects and groups that support our local community and our schools direction as an energetic and vibrant leader in education - and we have a lot of fun doing it!

Whether you fancy yourself as a bit of an organiser, have a little time to donate, feel as if youd like to connect more with your community or youre just looking for some family fun, ECCA is a great place to start. There are a bunch of ways you can support and enjoy the enrichment that ECCA brings.

ECCA in Action

The ECCA calendar is jam-packed with events to bring our community closer. These can include special year level events such as the New Families BBQ, a great ice-breaker and opportunity for students, teachers and parents to get to know each other in a relaxed environment before the year gets under way. Community wide events include our biennial showcase of creativity and the arts with MASTERWORKS where celebrated artists have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work, while also raising funds for the College.

Class Conveners

Representing every year level, our Class Conveners are ECCA's 'Can Do' people. These dedicated volunteers work at the grass-roots to make things happen, all with the goal of enriching the community experience at ELTHAM. Whether it is organising fundraising and friendraising events, supporting ELTHAM in Action school tours or assisting in classroom activities, Class Conveners are the heart and soul of ECCA.

ELC-Year 4 Association

Made up of enthusiastic volunteers, the ELC-Year 4 Association helps to design, plan and conduct exciting fundraising and friendraising activities in the spirit of the ELTHAM community. Some of these successful events include the Welcome Picnic, Student Easter Egg Hunt, Trivia Night, Class Tea-Towel project and books for ELC children at Christmas. When it comes to supporting our younger students, the ELC-Year 4 Association is always there, lending a helping hand.
