We are currently seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and experienced Fees & Receivables Officer to join our Finance & Operations team in a part-time (0.8 FTE) capacity. This role offers great part-time hours to work across 5 days during the week to accommodate work life balance and support the daily requirements of the role.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager, the Fees & Receivables Officer is responsible for the effective management of the College’s accounts receivable function. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial sustainability of the College through accurate billing, proactive debtor management, government grant receipting, and exceptional customer service to families.
The position also contributes to the broader effectiveness of the Finance team through a willingness and demonstrated ability to be cross-skilled and provide support across accounts payable, payroll and operational functions as required.
- Administer the accounts receivable function
- Manage debtor oversight and family engagement
- Oversee government funding and compliance requirements
- Deliver financial reporting and reconciliations
- Provide collaborative and cross-functional support
About you
- Demonstrated experience in an accounts receivable role (education experience desirable)
- A relevant qualification in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in billing, receipting and debtor management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- High integrity and the ability to manage confidential information
- Professional, empathetic communication skills
- Experience with Synergetic (desirable)
- A commitment to child safety and wellbeing
