ELTHAM College is seeking a passionate, student-centred and VIT registered Junior School Library Teacher to join our Learning and Teaching team for the 2026 school year. This 0.6 FTE role will be spread across the week to support consistent engagement with students and collaborative planning across the Junior School.
The Junior School Library Teacher plays a key role in fostering a love of reading, developing information and literacy skills, whilst maintaining a dynamic and welcoming library environment. Working with students from ELC to Year 6, the successful applicant will deliver engaging library lessons, collaborate with teachers to support curriculum programs, and contribute to a vibrant reading culture across the school.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Appropriate teaching qualification and current VIT registration
- Experience in primary education and/or library teaching programs is desirable
- Knowledge of library systems and digital learning tools (or willingness to learn)
