ELTHAM College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities and Geography Teacher to join our team, full time, for Term 4. The successful candidate will inspire a love of learning in years 7 - 11 students and will deliver engaging lessons in Humanities and Geography.
The role will commence on 6 October and conclude on 10 December 2025.

About you:
- VIT registered and possess qualifications in Geography or/and Humanities
- Recent experience teaching years 7 - 11 Humanities and Geography
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Curriculum in Geography and Humanities, with the ability to plan, implement, and assess effective teaching and learning programs
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Ability to create an inclusive, respectful, and stimulating learning environment
- Experience in using a range of assessment strategies to inform planning and track student progress.
- Commitment to providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents/carers
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of child safe practices, including reporting requirements
