We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Physical Education and Health Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for engaging students in active, healthy lifestyles, and bring creativity and energy to the classroom and beyond.
This role is a full-time parental leave 12-month position, commencing in Term 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centred Physical Education and Health programs across year levels (7-12).
- Contribute to co-curricular sport and wellbeing initiatives.
- Support students’ development of knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes towards physical activity and health.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
About You
- Qualified VIT registered Teacher with Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education with specialisation in Physical Education and/or Health.
- Expertise in Health and Physical Education curriculum.
- Strong commitment to student wellbeing and holistic education.
- Collaborative, innovative, and reflective teaching practice.
- Ability to engage students of varying abilities and interests.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the College.
- Experience teaching Food Technology (desirable, but a willingness to develop in this area is an advantage).
- Knowledge of child safe practices, including reporting requirements
