ELTHAM College is seeking an accomplished Infrastructure and Systems administrator to join their team of Information Communication Technology professionals in a full-time, ongoing position. You are a dedicated technology enthusiast with a passion for supporting and maintaining a variety of IT systems. The Infrastructure & Systems Administrators work closely together, under the guidance and direction of the Head of ICT as part of the ICT & AV Team. 

The Infrastructure & Systems Administrator is an integral part of the Information Technology Team. The position is responsible for management and maintenance of the College’s Infrastructure and Systems ecosystem ensuring that College systems are reliable and available and meet the needs of the College community. 

This position requires work flexibility with the ability to occasionally work after normal business hours, and on weekends or public holidays, if required.

What you bring to the role:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar 
  • Relevant and recent experience in administering IT Systems as described in the Position Description
  • Willingness to be a contributing member of a small team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Services as a crucial component of the College’s IT Ecosystem
  • Natural ability to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service and service delivery to all stakeholders
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child safe practices including reporting requirements
