ELTHAM College is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Music Director for the 2025 Production, ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’, for immediate start with Production week being 28 July – 2 August.

The Music Director will work closely with the Producer/Director of the College’s production team. They will oversee the live music production of the overall performances.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Conducting the orchestra through each of the production performances
- Running orchestral rehearsals prior to production
- Inspiring young people to try drama and get involved with it at the College

- Capacity to accommodate different student learning styles and abilities
- Ability to develop constructive relationships with students which engender positive attitudes to learning
- High level communication and interpersonal skills when relating to students, parents and staff
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of child safe practices, including reporting requirements
- Clearance to work with children - WWCC
- Entitled to live and work in Australia
