Celebrating a Quality Early Learning Centre

Children’s services in Victoria are assessed and rated by the Department of Education’s Quality Assessment and Regulation Division every 3 to 5 years. 

This process combines both a self and external assessment against the National Quality Areas and leads to the development of a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

ELTHAM College Early Learning Centre completed their assessment and rating process in 2023 and has received an Exceeding rating across every quality area and standard.

This result demonstrates that the ELC goes beyond the requirements of the National Quality Standards and has received recognition for the provision of quality education and care for young children.

The uniqueness of both the program and the College facilities were highlighted by the Authorised Officers who conducted the rating visit and it was wonderful to hear their feedback as to the quality of the opportunities that we provide to our ELC children.
