Celebrating International Women's Day 2026
This video celebrates International Women’s Day 2026, highlighting the voices, achievements and experiences of women and girls within the ELTHAM College community, and the positive impact women have had on all of us.
Created by student leader and Wellbeing Captain Eliza Millett, the film brings together reflections on equality, opportunity and the importance of recognising the contributions of women in shaping our world. Through personal stories and thoughtful commentary, it invites viewers to pause and consider how far progress has come—and how much more can still be achieved.
At its heart, the video is a call to reflect on the values of respect, courage and curiosity that underpin meaningful change. By amplifying student and staff perspectives and celebrating the diversity of female experiences, it encourages everyone to take part in building a more inclusive future—one where every voice is heard and every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
